NEW YORK Appearing on Fox News this morning, VicePresident Dick Cheney...denied the White House felt isolated or embattled, adding "I've seen embattled administrations, and this isn't one of them." Nevertheless, he would only answer questions on Sunday at the media outlet most friendly with the administration.

Cheney's been in denial since Operation Cakewalk didn't happen.

Isn't it true that Cheney will only appear on Fox news? Because if he were on any other news program, they would press him on that comment (and everything else he says) and point out all the problems the administration is having, and ask questions he doesn't want to have to answer. He is in denial, and so is everyone else who gets their news from Fox.

I just watched (wasted) 1/2 an hour of Bush squirming on the Jim Lehrer program. Jim was pretty straightforward. Neither Shields or Brooks were buying it.

I think pins and needles are most fitting. BushCheney are awaiting the first hearing to open, subpoenas to be issued to witnesses.
The First 100 Hours of legislation-
Increasing min wage bill,
Medicare Part D reform to enable Medicare to negotiate for drug purchases,
9/11 Security Bill enabling mandatory inspections of plane/ship incoming cargo as per the 9/11 Commission and ignored by Cheneybush;
Reducing college loan interest rates;
Lobbying reform;
and one other bill. The Demo Senate will ratify all of it, later, then Bush will dangle as he attempts to veto while awaiting authorization for more Iraq troops and billion$.

the "other" bill mentioned above is-
End Subsidies for Big Oil and Invest In Renewable Energy &
Extend stem cell research (Passed)
9/11 Commissioners reccomendations have passed the House;
Min Wage increase passed;
Medicare Part D prescription reform has passed;
How much of this have you heard about on MSM?

I heard about it through email alerts. No MSM, but then, I don't have a TV. If W vetos all this stuff he just handed both congress and the White House to the Dems in '08 (unless they can steal it again, which is probably what the Rs are counting on).

I heard about the "hundred hours" through email alerts. Not MSM, but then, I don't have a TV. If W vetos all this stuff he just handed both congress and the White House to the Dems in '08 (unless they can steal it again, which is probably what the Rs are counting on). Investigations are the big thing - and this time people need to testifying UNDER OATH (since the Rs don't count lies as being wrong unless they are). Investigate and indict (and once we get the Rs on board, impeach & remove).
