I posted this in reply to a post on NWAonline suggesting that we all read Atlas Shrugged:
"I read a book once wherein a couple of people were minding their own business, when suddenly a powerful, disruptive, destructive, oblivious, unstoppable influence appeared and wreaked havoc on their quiet, successful little world.
"Yet for some reason, even though it would make exactly as much sense as the work you cited above, nobody ever suggests that we base the American way of life on The Cat in the Hat."

"Debating with a conservative is like cleaning up your dog's vomit: It is an inevitable consequence of your association, he isn't much help, and it makes very clear the fact that he will swallow anything."
