September 2011 Freethinker Meeting

Howdy folks, just a note to let you know about our freethinker meeting this Saturday.

Along with an assortment of topics of interest to heretics, Linda Farrell will be giving our main presentation entitled:

"Wackier than Thou: The stuff your Catholic friends won't tell you about the Papacy."

We'll have an interesting (and rather disturbing) expose' on the Quiverfull movement. Apparently, if we really want to
take over the world with freethinkers (and of course we do), we need to be having more sex!

Our on campus Freethinker Bible study went well and was well attended and we'll have an exciting announcement
about that too. Bogus local electric heaters, and a little poke at the 9/11 Truthers and much more...

If you have some books or magazines for the free table, bring them!

Meeting Details:

When: Saturday, September 24, 2011.

Where: The Fayetteville Public Library. 401 W. Mountain
St. (two blocks west of the town square). Library phone: 571-2222.

Time: 2:00 - 4:30 pm

Room: The Walker Room, the main meeting room. Go in the front door, through the
lobby and go to your right. You can bring a snack or coffee from Arsaga's in the
library lobby.
