Hello freethinkers,
As we mentioned in our last notice, there will not be a Fayetteville Freethinker meeting this Saturday, April 30. We will be running our Springfest booth instead.
We have been working like busy beavers to prepare for our booth. Our theme this year will be centered around our Mythbuster Board which will be educating the public with nine interactive questions regarding "Christian Nation Myths."
We will also be introducing our first major publication. It's a 32 page booklet entitled:
The Fabulous
Fayetteville Freethinker
Fact-filled Family Fun Folder
It contains most of our tracts along with a few extras. We'll be selling them at cost ($1.00) and hope to get a lot of them out there. We may not bring a goat this year (Darrel will ask if there are any volunteers in the morning), but we do plan to bring a small piano for booth-side entertainment. We've determined goats and pianos do not necessarily travel well in the same small pickup truck.
We expect to be located across from Jose's on Dickson street. Unless it's quite cold and rainy, that is where we'll be this Saturday, April 30.
Hope you can come by and say "hi!"
D.

PS. Our Tom Flynn event at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship was very successful with about 70 in attendance. Thanks especially to Carol, Linda and Vivian for coordinating the wonderful refreshments.
PPS. Due to a conflict with the Library's schedule, our June meeting will now be on the last Saturday of June (25th), and not on the Sunday as previously planned. The May meeting will be on May 28th, as planned.
As promised, here are some clips from our last meeting:
