Sounds like a great idea, but I am wondering how much it would cost? I imagine that would be the deciding factor for most people.

I think it was about $795 a person last year, when I went. Not including lodging and travel.

Bring the whole family!

(I'm trying to decide whether to go to the Amazing Meeting or a magicians convention in San Diego. They take place at the same time. The convention of magicians is a lot less costly, though.)

Looks like it was $495 a person last year. I hate to say it, but I think this might be too much for me.

I heard that Richard Dawkins is going to be the keynote speaker for this year's TAM. I don't think I can make it, but I'm going to investigate. I'd like to go to Dragon*con sometime, too. It's also cheaper.

I signed up for some workshops that cost extra. I'd forgotten.

If it's like last year, they also have single-day registration available. I think that was $120 or so for the Saturday.
