How about we start posting our best guess as to when Whitehouse "Green Jobs" Czar, all-around Kookster and 911 truther VAN JONES will resign?

The sad VAN JONES story was brought to light by Glenn Beck. Who's assertion that VAN JONES is a communist was ridiculed by many- until the video surfaced of VAN JONES proclaiming that indeed, HE IS A REAL COMMUNIST! Thanks Glenn Beck!!!

The free thinker that has the must accurate guess will win a $10 shopping spree at Wal-Mart.

Lets the games begin folks! (I guess by Thursday at noon)

Hello job approval ratings in the 30's- Obama has become a national disgrace- BRING BACK BUSH, PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Good luck- by the looks of you folks, $10 will be the most money you have had in years.

Van Jones is not a czar. He regrets a lot of what he did in the past, including demanding a 9/11 investigation into whether it was an inside job, and related nonsense.

OK, take Van Jones. So what? We lose a semi-crazy, and you're still stuck with a certifiable crazy in Glenn Beck! Good luck with that.

And ridiculed correctly. Van Jones is not a communist. Beck is of course, a liar.

“Jones ended his involvement with STORM (and STORM officially dissolved in December 2002).

By the late 1990s, Jones began promoting capitalism as he transformed into an environmentally friendly capitalist. He emerged as one of the foremost champions of green business, entrepreneurship and market-based solutions. In his 2008 best seller The Green Collar Economy, Jones contended that invention and investment will take us out of a pollution-based grey economy and into a healthy new green economy.”

Make sure and see his long list of Awards and Honors. Quite a guy. Good choice.

"In 2008, Time magazine named Jones one of its "Environmental Heroes." Fast Company called him one of the "12 Most Creative Minds of 2008."

"Beck is a self-described recovering alcoholic and drug addict ('fried brain syndrome'). He also has a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. [8] He and his first wife divorced amid his struggle with substance abuse. Beck cites the help of Alcoholics Anonymous in his sobriety, and he eventually converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,[9] which teaches against the consumption of alcohol."

Interesting little tid bit. The reason Beck went on his smear campaign against Jones... Van Jones started the group (years ago) that recently led the rather successful campaign to have (36) advertisers boycott Beck's show.

Beck's level of "the end is nigh" pants on fire insanity is unsustainable. He's losing all but the crazies. Unfortunately, in America, that is still quite a crowd (read mob). Maybe like our local radio nut Frank Whalen, he'll be relegated to an internet radio show some day. Either way, he's an albatross to the republicans because the louder the crazy wing of their party is, the less they can get the non-crazy portion of swing/independent voters. This makes them less electable. That's my theory anyway.

No Congrats?

I am sad that my Free thinker friends have not congratulated me on the resignation of the avowed communist Van Jones.

After all, I predicted it- although I thought Obama would stand by him longer.

Come on, give your pal some love...

Sure. If you will agree that failed predictions of yours (and Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.--same thing) can result in our deriding you and giving you a hard time.

There have already been plenty of those.

According to statistics, the more predictions one makes, the more likely one of those predictions will be correct. So after countless failed attempts, you expect us to revere your prophesying ability? There's a reason for the saying, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while." Of course, here, I think it's more a case of the nut finding something.

So you not only want us to give you credit for a completely unextraordinary "feat," but you want us to give you credit for a completely unextraordinary feat that you didn't even get right?
