PAINE DAY WITH AN INSPIRATIONAL REASON
One man – Thomas Paine – contributed major achievements that changed history. He brilliantly unraveled many societal problems and equally brilliantly gave us solutions. If we ignore our humanitarian benefactors, such as Paine, we offer no evidence to our youth or young in spirit of how we advanced to have the individual freedoms we enjoy today. Therefore, there is an inspirational reason to have a Thomas Paine Day: For the hope of a better future; for further discoveries to solve societal problems that are now enormously alarming, the life of this Great Author, Genius, Humanitarian and Liberator, Thomas Paine, should be made widely known for what one individual can do. Especially for our youth, we need a Thomas Paine Day, not only to restore Paine’s rightful place in history; but for the inspirational effect of his courage and Revolutionary Ideas. Join in the Celebration of Paine January 29th (Paine’s birthday), at the Fayetteville Library. Contact Jack Makens at b4ethics@yahoo.com or the Fayetteville Library for more information.
