Two shameless bits of self-promotion:
1.
I was interviewed by Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor for the Freedom From Religion Foundation's Freethought Radio program. It should be online November 22nd.

2.
I was just interviewed by a reporter for the Wall Street Journal regarding HuymanLight, the solstice celebration that many humanists use as a substitute for Christmas celebrations.

That report may be in the WSJ sometime in the next few weeks.

Re: Misc. Freethinker News
This is about an invitation.
On Saturday, I ran into Fayetteville mayor Dan Coody at a pancake breakfast for the Fayetteville High School. He said hello and handed me a card about a Coody Campaign Party that he's having on November 20th. He specifically requested that I invite the Fayetteville Freethinkers to come out to the party.
Here are the details:
Coody Campaign Party
Thursday, November 20th
5:30-7:30pm
Walton Arts Center Lobby
Good food, drinks, and jazz.
Rare indeed is the politician that invites freethinkers to be seen with him in public!
