I think hell just froze over. A few days ago, the newspaper I write a political column for, the usually quite conservative Benton County Daily Record, endorsed Obama for President. My jaw dropped when I saw it.
Hope, even up here in uber conservative Benton County.

Assuming Arkansas goes McCain, and assuming Obama wins (both pretty safe assumptions) this will be first time since 1968 that Arkansas has not gone with the winning candidate...
