No advance notice is right. Anyone want to call the number and have them reschedule. Maybe not at Denny's.

I had a discussion with my brother about the same thing a few weeks ago. His conclusion was "yes, but there's something wrong with him."

I usually start the debate by asking, "What do you have to do to be saved?"

They usually say something like, "Accepting that Jesus is your saviour and asking him into your heart."

The answers vary, but they usually (not always) agree that there is no other requirements. My brother even went as far to say that you don't even have to go to church.

Then I ask, "Do you have to believe that Genesis is 100% accurate?"

Go on from there. That'll usually get 'em.

However, I'm a bad example because I do accept evolution as the best explaination and I am not a christian. I do however know a few Southern Baptists who do not accept Young Earth Creationism. They are the exception not the rule, but at least there is a bit of rationalism in one of the largest denominations. They are both theistic evolutionists.

Did anyone call Ramona? Maybe she'll have another meeting. It's got my attention.

Hey Robert, if you haven't already, take a few moments to read this classic from Ingersoll:

WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?

You are in for a treat.
