I doubt it. I'm sorry but your party has been overtaken by the religious right and it's not your grandfather's party anymore.

Famous GOP atheists: Arnold Schwarzenegger, G. Gordon Liddy, Colonel Robert G. Ingersoll, Ron Reagan Jr., and many others.
Karl Rove is at least an agnostic.

Surely the republicans of Ingersoll's time were of a different species?
Why do you say Ron Reagan is GOP? Consider:
"In September 2004 he told the Sunday Herald newspaper that the Bush administration had "cheated to get into the White House...
Reagan later wrote an essay titled "The Case Against George W. Bush by Ron Reagan" for Esquire. He was quoted as saying that he voted for Democratic candidate John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election."

I figured he was one of the GOP "they left me, I didn't leave them" kind of Republicans. Maybe he's abandoned pretense altogether.
Jenna Bush said in an interview (while seated next to Laura Bush) that she may not vote for a Republican in this 2008 presidential election.
