Asa Hutchinson - Drug Nazi

Just because I don't vote (it condones statist aggression) doesn't mean that I don't have preferrences about who loses. I have a special antipathy for Asa Hutchinson. From my Every Dead Narc is One Small Step for Freedom web page:

Leader of the new holocaust, Asa Hutchinson was the
Adolf Eichmann of the War on Drug Users. He was
directly responsible for kidnapping and imprisoning
thousands of people, while sending their
kids to orphanages and foster homes. In a perfect
world, Hutchinson would be sent to prison, broom-
handle butt-raped by every soul he put there, and
then have his throat slit. We'll have to settle for
the hope that some courageous warrior puts a bullet
through his brain. Perhaps some pain-racked AIDS
patient deprived of medicinal marijuana will commit
a last heroic act of terrorcide and blow Asa's
ass away. Hogeye Bill sez,"Die narc scum!"

But in a perfect world, he wouldn't have sent them there in the first place, wouldn't you say? Your scenario is self-contradictory.

Good point. I just changed it to "It would be poetic justice if Hutchinson were sent to prison..."

I actually am repulsed by your hope for Mr. Hutchison, even though I agree that he's not a good man. Wanting him to be tortured and killed is no better than Ann Coulter saying we should poison a Supreme Court Justice for not agreeing with her. No wonder you think she's funny...

Hogeye is just posting ban bait. He likes to test to see what he can get away with. Perhaps if he doesn't get the boot or a warning every now and then he doesn't think he is radical enough. I couldn't give a flip, but posting near specific threats or that it would be a good thing if a certain specific official would be asassinated is probably bumping up against some legal line. Fortunately Sav is an experienced moderator. I'm just a humble goat farmer.

Well, nothing happened to Pat Robertson...

Good point. But that was about a foreigner. I wonder if he had said it about Barry Lynn (head of Americans United) or someone running for governer he didn't like.

As I understand the legality (keeping in mind I am not a lawyer) it is perfectly legal to advocate assassination so long as there is no "clear and present danger" or provocation of "imminent lawless action." Thus having a sign at a demonstration (or a web page) saying "Kill Narcs" or "Kill Abortionists" is legal, but if you guys dragged a priest into our Freethinkers meeting with rope in hand and I yelled, "lynch the damn theist," that would not be legal.

Another example: The "Nuremberg Files" web site, which published the names and addresses of abortion doctors, crossing them out as they were offed, was legal. (Though were sued in a civil - not criminal - procedure. Not that they ever paid anything, as they were smart enough to have their assets covered.) See Anti-abortion web site shut down in civil suit.

Per a co-worker who is also a lawyer, saying someone "should" off a specific person is "dumb speech, but free speech". On the other hand, if you send a letter to someone, especially an appointed or elected official, stating you are going to off said person/official, that's "terroristic threatening" and the DA will have a field day.

What I mostly wish about Asa, as well as the administration for which he - works - is that they somehow be rendered harmless to society and the planet. I don't necessarily wish them harm, any more than I do to a poisonous snake - just keep them away (Blessing for the Czar - "God bless and keep the Czar - far away from us!)
