Looks cool, but has the same problem as the scooters as far as I'm concerned. No protection from the weather and no place (little space) to put groceries.

Well then maybe on of the other 88 or so shown at that site would be of interest.

The Lavenami looks interesting. It could probably be outfitted with the plastic "windows" the old jeeps used to use for bad weather. I bet with replacing the single 12v car battery (of current use) with a couple of lithiums the speed (25 mph) and range (39 miles) could be extended. It's the speed and/or ability to climb I'm concerned about. I don't normally travel more than 20 miles a weekend, so the range isn't a problem. However getting around in this town requires climbing hills or traveling streets with 40+ mph speed limits or both. I could get to Harps from where I live without a hill, but the Farmers' Market or ONF... Still, not a bad starting point at all.
