June FT meeting
June FT meeting
I heard a rumor that maybe the FTs would have a picnic meeting on Thursday instead of a Saturday meeting, or maybe in addition to. Could you please let me know what the official word is so that I can plan to attend one or both event(s)? Hope to see y'all soon!

Right, meeting this Saturday, 2:00pm, in the boardroom. I was going to send out a notice for freethinkers to come to a concert in the park but I can't find the time for the concert. Probably about 7? Jason D. Williams, who plays piano and sings like (his papa) Jerry Lee Lewis, will be giving a free concert at Gully Park Thursday. I tune his piano at 4 but don't know the time of the concert. I'll see if I can find it.

So does this mean that there will be an officially unofficial, pre-meeting FT event at 7pm on Thursday in Gulley Park? Or is it more of a, "Hey, Darrel will be there, and I could go too" thing? If it's an actual event, what else will we do?Betsy wrote:Gulley Park Concerts start at 7 p.m.

Freethinker meeting this Saturday. We have a couple presentations lined up. No hints this time!

Where: The Fayetteville Library. 401 W. Mountain
St. (two blocks west of the town square). The library
phone number is 571-2222.
Time: Precisely 2:00pm.
Room: The Boardroom. Walk in the front door, through the lobby and go
to your LEFT. Just to the left of the audio/video section is the Board
Room. We'll be in there. We are allowed to bring a snack or coffee from Arsaga's coffee shop in the lobby.

Also, this Thursday June 22, the city of Fayetteville is hosting a free concert in Gully Park featuring Jason D. Williams. He is a wild piano player/singer in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis. Some of us freethinkers will be going to this event and you are invited to join us. All very informal of course. Gully Park is located on Township just east of the intersection of Old Wire and Township. The concert starts at 7:00 PM.
