Liberal show "Majority Report" calls the Ken Ham creationist group. A short clip of the call:

Interesting that Ken was so certain carbon dating isn't used for determining the age of dinosaurs, but couldn't say what supposedly is. And it really doesn't defeat evolutionary law to find an isolated "dinosaur" in Africa (as he said a professor "suggested" might exist), any more than finding the taratua still living in New Zealand did. The problem with fundies is the "all or nothing" thinking - which of course is why they have to go to such (I'd say ridiculous, if it weren't so serious) lengths to disprove evolution, since by their way of thinking, evolution disproves the bible. Heck, we don't need evolution to disprove the bible - DAR did a lovely job showing the bible disproves itself.

Barbara, note that this was not Ken Ham at the phone. Ham would have simply made up something on the spot.

As someone who spends a lot of time butting heads with creationists, this was a rather uneventful creationist "presentation" by "Mark" from AiG. It's the basic claptrap that makes me yawn with boredom before sadly shaking my head.

Ah, that explains it. I'd say just another sheep, except sheep generally don't refrain from baa-ing until they can clear it with the shepherd.
