Howdy.

I'm new to Fay and am looking for cool people (such as yourselves) to spend time with in my spare time. Please post your thoughts on some of the following ideas which I would be happy to help organize/host/carpool.

1. bowling
2. movies (theater or dvd)
3. book group
4. art/craft group
5. walking/hiking
6. mostly flat bicycling
7. potluck/regular dinner or lunch get together
8. gardening/plant swaps
9. roller skating (just to be silly)
10. traveling to local unique spots for a day trip (ie. Eureka Springs)

Of course, there are many other things to do too, but this is just a start based on where my skills are. I'm trying to make sure I have fun stuff to do this summer so that I won't get too depressed about how terribly hot/humid it's going to be (I'm not just whining in advance btw, I actually suffer--it's genetic).

My Free Thinkin' bowling pal is working up plans for a bubble space suit for me and my cat.

Maybe we could try to get a hiking/camping/outdoorsy trip thrown together soon, before the weather gets too unbearable?

hiking/outdoorsy sounds good. camping? with you guys? not so much.

oops, that was from me. I thought I was logged in...

May 14th looks like the only weekend day between now and June that I'll have off (and that I won't be packing/moving). Let me know if you're interested in planning something fun for next Sunday. Bonus points given for including food and nature in the plan (not necessarily in that order).
