I'm a "Big Band" Era fan - so practically anything by the Glen Miller Band, for example
I also like the old WWII songs like "I'll Be Seeing You"
Or if you want a laugh, practically anything by Spike Jones and the City Slickers.
The Weavers, Burl Ives, and Woody Guthrie cover several decades, but I like their stuff - even though I didn't understand the political implications when I first heard it.
Patti Page stuff from the '50s (I love "Old Cape Cod")
Peter, Paul & Mary's stuff & Simon and Garfunkle from the '60s (I favored the anti-war sentiment, but not the music)
John Denver & the Carpenters in the '70s
Aside from some relatively good remakes ("Unchained Melody" for example) I haven't really cared for anything since.
This is not counting "classical" music, since your list was of popular music. I like practically anything by Beethovan, Richard Strauss, or Ralph Vaughn Williams - and most stuff by Mozart, the other Strausses, and all the "Romantics" like Tchaikowski.

I like anything by Gerry Aire, especially from his new "AC Does It" album...my favorite cuts on there are "But I Need You Now" and "City Lights" (the hits) but they're all cool.
