Scientific American fesses up: Evolution's False

Okay, We Give Up -- We feel so ashamed
By The Editors
There's no easy way to admit this. For years, helpful letter writers told us to stick to science. They pointed out that science and politics don't mix. They said we should be more balanced in our presentation of such issues as creationism, missile defense and global warming. We resisted their advice and pretended not to be stung by the accusations that the magazine should be renamed
Unscientific American, or
Scientific Unamerican, or even
Unscientific Unamerican. But spring is in the air, and all of nature is turning over a new leaf, so there's no better time to say: you were right, and we were wrong.
You must read the rest...

I clicked on the link. It said the page had moved.
And Hovind is definitely no "Dr"!

Maybe he's really Mr. Jeckle and Dr. Hovind.

And speaking of "Dr." Hovind's credentials, you should read
this review of his doctoral thesis.

Found this quote the other day. It would go good in our quote loop:
“Those who cavalierly reject the Theory of Evolution, as not adequately supported by facts, seem quite to forget that their own theory is supported by no facts at all.” --Herbert Spencer, 1820-1903

"Dr." Hovind is apparently too dumb to notice: he copied the giveaway line onto his page and still responded...

Hovind is a year-round fool.
All of us recall the time Hovind was fooled by a silly hoaxed photo allegedly showing a dinosaur chasing, and beginning to eat, a caveman? They were (supposedly) fossilized in action. Hovind fell for it and even used the photo in one of his slide shows in one of his seminars.

Did he have any suggestion of how or why something would continue eating while being covered in mud or ash? Even places like Pompey, where houses have been uncovered with half-eaten meals still on the tables, they didn't find people sitting at the table with forks half-way to their mouths. I mean, dinosaurs had relatively small brains, but I doubt they were that small.

Fundies have small brains too. No explanation was given. Hovind didn't need any. The worst part is, as stupid as Hovind is, his audience looks up to him as a scholar!
