Lets put a kick ass list together. Here are a few ideas off the top of my head (with Tamara's help):

--No tithing

--Meetings only once a month instead of weekly

--Claims made in presentations can be verified with evidence

--Don't have to dress up

--Don't have to feel guilty if you don't go

--You can drink coffee and eat snacks during the "sermon"

--Sermons not always based on the same book

--No faith required, no guilt trips

--No boring songs to sing

--No threats of eternal damnation

--Funny bits!

A few more:

* It is OK to laugh during the presentation. [Sometimes it is intentionally funny!]

* Some presentations have pictures of naked people.

* You don't have to stand, sit, kneel, stand, sit, kneel, etc.

* People can exit at regular speed. No long lines as you shake hands with the minister on the way out. (I used to hate the slow lines.)

* You can think FREELY!

Doug, you make it sound like people want to leave, which brings up this somewhat circular/vague one:

* You actually want to be there.

I don't remember too much gossiping. Or having to dress children up in silly costumes to preform in a badly written play.
