Would you want to defend the position that the Bible is factual and accurate in it's claims? Would you want to defend the morals in the Bible?

There are many Biblical historical facts still coming to us. Here is another: Published: 03/30/09, 10:05 AM / Last Update: 03/30/09, 11:45 AM

So they found a synagogue from a few hundred years after the bible was written, how is that a biblical fact? That's not even close to answering Darrel's question.

You don't see the proof James? This article proves that 500 years after Jesus and the stories about him, someone made a floor in a church.

This is like, 1,500 years from now, someone asking for a reason to believe that something Christopher Columbus said 2000 years ago was true, and someone else points them to an article showing the discovery of a 1,500 year old wooden sailing ship (which was made 500 years after Columbus).

Maybe Joshua is just starting slow and building up to the good stuff. I hope so. Bit of a slow start.

You sure know how to evade direct questions, don't you? This is all very tiresome, Mr. Udell.

As my fellow freethinkers keep pointing out, your article in NO WAY provides evidence of anything except that an old synagogue stood at that site. That's it, nothing more.

You just don't get it, do you? Being popular doesn't prove there's a god. If that's all it takes for you, then hey - I just happen to have a bridge for sale . . .

To quote:
"It's Supernatural & Messianic Vision" with Sid Roth."

Gary and Kathi Oates

Boring. Hey Josh, demonstrate something supernatural for me and I'll give you my house.

Amazing claim. And the evidence is..?

He says so! Wow.

So if he'd said that he was caught up into the realm of Bigfoot, or fairies, or leprechauns, you'd believe that too?

Didn't think so.

Yes I am ready! I watched every single minute of it except for the time it took me to run down the hall and offload some coffee. I agree with Doug and Darrel, where is the proof? Just because Oates said it is so does not make it so. People lie every single day for fun and profit and Christians are no exception. All you have to do is read the headlines every day. I particularly liked the plugs for the book and the donation of $20. It just couldn't be a true supernatural event without you sending in some money to buy a book or prayer rug.

I know there has been more than one study done that can explain the psychological phenomena that takes place at these overly religiously-charged gatherings that cause otherwise "normal" people to experience supernatural visions or feelings. Dan Barker talks about this in his latest book "Godless" and about speaking in tongues. Dan said he can still recreate that same feeling or sensation to this day but he understands what the psychological explanation is now that he did not understand in his evangelical days.

In your own words "Are you ready for this?" Joshua, I can save you $5 and you can get a really good book. Dan Barker's "Godless" is an excellent book and only $15 from the Freedom From Religion Foundation (and unlike the Bible, you can get it signed by the author!) If not do not attempt to read this book if you are not "ready." Dan is a former hardcore evangelical minister who discovered science and reason, then permanently discarded superstition and the supernatural. You could learn a lot from him.

The Intro said,
Can you get help from another dimension?
Joshua, a dimension is not a place. It's a direction. That question makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, if you know what a dimension is. It's like asking if you can get help from Length.
