Family Guy: I Dream of Jesus

The animated series "The Family Guy" got 2 Emmy nominations. One was specifically for their episode "I Dream of Jesus."

This is the first animated series to get an Emmy nomination since "The Flintstones" in 1961.

(Hint: Jesus doesn't appear until the very end of the first part. Also, the quality of part II is a lot worse than part I.)

Jesus returns, and Peter (the main character) gets Jesus on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This is pretty heretical stuff, folks.

Well, I think it is quite clear that family guy is not exactly pro-religion...
