How about "smaller more local" being the garbage and sewage from your municipality? Jeez, I'll be glad when the BRI commercial plant (being built in FL - they finally got funding) gets up and running so we can stop this "food or fuel" crap. Just because ethanol is currently made in the US from subsidized corn doesn't mean ETHANOL is bad - the Farm Bill sucks on all row-crop subsidies. Ethanol was just another excuse. One we've got a commercial plant out there as an example of ethanol from dam-near anything, we can get moving on building more. Funding is easier to come by when it's a "proven" technology.
