Faux News Still in Jr. High

Post by Doug »

From here.

After a reporter from the New York Times wrote a piece on how Fox News is biased, Fox called reporter Jacques Steinberg and editor Steven Reddicliffe "attack dogs" and did a hit piece on them showing altered photos of them and another picture showing the editor holding the reporter on a leash. The reporter's head was superimposed on the body of a poodle.

The altered photos:

Is there any doubt that the GOP has the brains and the disposition of a juvenile?

The GOP leadership is a bunch of really nasty propagandists who are perfectly well aware of how juvenile the Average American is. If this crap didn't work, they wouldn't do it.

Now now, we all know Fox News is fair and balanced. [/sarcasm]

Fox and Friends phails miserably at photo-manipulation. The unfortunate thing is, albeit it should be obvious to anyone with one eye open, it still probably fooled a good percentage of Faux viewers.

I haven't read the article, and only know that it was centered around Fox biases(correct plural?)--so when did truth become taboo?

DAR
While "the Times was far too polite to... fight fire with fire." The fine folks at Vanity Fair magazine felt no such compunction and decided to do a little photoshopping of the knuckleheads at FOX. See their results here.

nice roasting of O'Really!s tactics on Hardball last night, which Rachel Maddow guest hosted (love her). With regard to the Jesse Jackson faux pas, O'Really said "we won't speculate on his motives or tell you what to think, we'll just show it to you and let you decide" --- then he went on to speculate on his motives and tell everyone what to think...

too bad the people who need to see that pointed out to them weren't watching - they were all too busy being brainwashed by Fox News.
