davidmabus2020, according to Poe's Law, The real fundy comment is indistinguishable from a parody of it. I have no idea if you are being serious or if you are making fun of religious nuts. The all caps thing is a nice touch though, though a bit underdone. If you want to look like a real fundy, you should have typed the entire thing in caps.

Overall, the comment was hardly legible. I understood almost none of it. I did not know who "we" was, because you didn't tell me. Also, I didn't understand from your post why I should thank Dawkins, Randi, and PZ.

If you are parodying a fundy comment, Good Job. You have me confused and rattled, just like a real fundy comment would do.

In the latest issue of Skeptic Magazine (highly recommended) Randi gives a very good explanation for why they are going to, in two years, stop the $1 million challenge. They would like to put that million bucks to work but mostly it is just too time consuming dealing with the constant phone calls, mail and email from the people who are not well acquainted with reality. Very tedious.
Oh, I now see that this is the case with this guy above. I just went to his web-page and it is clear he is not well in the head. A Nostradamus fundie. Pitiful.

Nice touch that the clip is old enough to see that the comet prediction fell flat, as usual. No matter, I am sure Nostradamus fundies have retranslated the quatrain to mean something else by now. They always do.

Again, it has not been stopped so please stop lying. I would ask you to provide evidence you have done anything to win the challenge but that is hardly possible since no one has ever made it to the point of taking the formal test. This necessarily would include you. From Randi's FAQ:

1.4 Has anyone ever gotten past the preliminary test?

No. Some people use this fact as a reason not to apply – and yet the protocol is never altered once the applicant agrees to it. In fact, we ask the applicant to design the test.

1.5 Has anyone taken the formal test?

No. Applicants must pass the preliminary test in order to move on to a formal test. So far, no one has ever performed the paranormal ability they claimed to have.

The James Randi Educational Foundation obviously reserves the right to change and/or modify it's challenge as time passes (it was first offered in 1964 when Randi offered $1,000 of his own money). Obviously it has been modified much over the decades. Now it has been decided that the Million Dollar Challenge will close in 2010. So you have lots time to win it before then. That is if you had any psychic ability at all. Best of luck.

In addition, Randi constructs the test according to the specific abilities of the applicant, and before taking the test, the applicant and James Randi agree in writing that the test is a fair test of the person's abilities, and they agree that the results will be unambiguous and indicative of whether the person has performed with the ability he or she claims to have. Often Randi will modify the test proposed to accommodate specific concerns that the applicant has.

No one has ever taken one of Randi's tests without first consulting with Randi or his representatives, evaluating the procedure, and then agreeing that the test is fair.

By the way, do you think the fact that Randi wrote a book exposing the Nostradamus prophecies as nonsense has anything to do with why this Nostradamus nut is mad at Randi?
